The Motorola NNTN8287A battery is a 2300 mAh Li-Ion Intrinsically Safe CSA battery. This battery, when properly paired with the XPR 6580 IS radio, is permitted for use for Ex a IIC T4, Class I, Groups A, B, C, D, Class II, Groups E, F, G and Class III, and DIP A21 TA 110C. IMPRES batteries, when used with an IMPRES charger, provide automatic, adaptive reconditioning, end-of-life display, and other advanced features. Data is stored in the battery and communicated to the charger via a unique IMPRES communication protocol, which is designed to maximize talk time and optimize battery cycle life.
